Welcome back to another addition of the Lake of the Woods Fishing Report Videos with the Lake of the Woods Outdoorsman and friends. This week you’ll get to see where the Walleyes, Sauger and Perch are biting up by Skeet Island, while fishing with a few gentlemen from CHS (Phil, Justin and Josh) via Sportsman’s Lodge Oak Island. This was the first day of fishing of a 5 day adventure for me up there. All the video we needed was captured on the first day. Fishing was fantastic to say the least…not to many big fish, but plenty of action.
The biggest fish came from Mr. Sam Johnson of Warroad, MN during the trip (day number 3) at 25 inches, while he boated a personal best number of fish at 40. That’s just one guy for one day…if that isn’t fun, I don’t know what is.
Shane “Wiggles” Burk also discusses the south end of the lake hot spots. He’s been out there for the past week slamming the Walleyes and he point you in the right direction and informs you of the technique.
