Welcome to another addition of the Lake of the Woods Fishing Report Videos with the Lake of the Woods Outdoorsman. In this weeks adventure we wander off the beaten path and head on up to Oak Island and the Big Thumb Angle Outpost. Fishing was awesome both days and the rocks most definitely held the most fish. We didn’t catch anything huge, but there was activity all day long. We were on the rock piles jigging with frozen shiners and hooking into a multitude of Walleyes, Saugers and jumbo Perch. Lake of the Woods has it all!
In the big body of water down on the south end of the lake fishing is still on fire for the guys pulling the spinners with crawlers and the plugs down rigging. I’ve heard of people having success in 28 to 35 feet of water in the big bowl…that’s amazing!
I hope everyone enjoys the video and as always, Happy Fishing and God Bless.
